Raghavan is a Malayalam film actor who has acted in more than 100 films. Malayalam actor Jishnu was his son. He is concentrating on Malayalam serials now.
Raghavan was born in Taliparamba. His father was Alunkeyil Chathukutti and mother, Kalyani. He did his education in Thaliparambu Moothedath High School, Kozhikkode Guruvayoorappan School,Madhura Gandhigram. After Higher secondary he worked in Tagore Drame Trupe. He pursued bachelors in Rural Education from Gandhigram Rural Institute. He got his Diploma from Delhi National School of Drama. His first film was Kayalkarayil in 1968. He is married and has an actor son Jishnu and a daughter Jyothsna. His son Jishnu has died due to throat and lung cancer.
