Quantum University Roorkee is a Private University in the North Indian state of Uttarakhand, India. The University was earlier known as Quantum Global Campus Roorkee. The University campus is located in the town of Roorkee. Quantum University Roorkee has been Acknowledged by Govt. of Uttarakhand and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)[ under section 2(F) of the UGC Act, 1956
Quantum University Roorkee was founded in 2008 by industrialist Shri Shyam Sunder Goyal. The core programs initially offered by the college were in the disciplines of Engineering and Management. In 2014 the college started programs in Graduate Studies.
The University is located outside the town of Roorkee on the Roorkee-Dehradun Highway. The campus spreads over an area of 30 acres.
Quantum University offers programs in Engineering, Management, Business Studies, Social Sciences,Health Sciences, Agriculture and Journalism.
Quantum Global Campus has recently collaborated with the European center for Mechatronics, Germany (APS GmbH). This has given way for the establishment of Advance Robotic Control Lab on automation and Industrial Robotics at the campus. The collaboration with APS GmbH entails academic cooperation, faculty-student exchange program, and curriculum development.
