Qaumi Awaz is an Urdu language newspaper published in India. It is puplished by Associated Journals Limited, which was started by Jawaharlal Nehru in November 1937. It was known as the "mouthpiece of the Congress" before the publication was shut by Congress in 2008 as they were incurring losses. Its sister publications are the National Herald newspaper in English and Navjivan in Hindi. On 21 January 2016 the AJL in its meeting in Lucknow decided to relaunch the three dailies.
