The Qatar Under 19 team has participated in Asia Cup tournaments in 2001, 2003 and 2005, reaching the semi finals on the 2003 & 2005 editions. In the 2001 they came runner up in the plate league.

The Under-19 team for the Qatar which played in the ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2016 & Asia Cup Qualifier 2016

There are ten(10) teams competing in the tournament with the top two (2) teams to be promoted to the Division 1 ICC Asia Qualifier to be held in 2017 and is the pathway to 2018 ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup. The participating teams are host Malaysia, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand and United Arab Emirates.
