Professional Rapper is the debut studio album by American rapper Lil Dicky. It was released on July 31, 2015, by Commission Records and ADA. The album features guest appearances from American rapper Snoop Dogg, American hip hop recording artists Rich Homie Quan, Fetty Wap and Jace, and American musicians Brendon Urie and T-Pain, alongside narrations from American comedian Hannibal Buress, and Lil Dicky's parents.
The album debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200, selling 26,000 equivalent album units, with the sales of 22,000 copies in the United States.
On May 22, 2013, Lil Dicky self-released his official debut mixtape, titled So Hard. After and the following of his debut mixtape release, he later begin using the Kickstarter website, to create a goal of raising $70,000 for him to release his upcoming debut album, with accompanying music videos and tours. On November 20, 2013, the Kickstarter projected into a month-long crowdfunding period, reaching the fundraising goal within a week. The fundraising was dramatically successful, raising a total of $113,017.
The album's lead single, called "Lemme Freak" was released on September 17, 2014. The song was produced by Jim Cummings. As of June 2017, the music video received over 40 million views.
The album's second single, called "White Crime" was released on December 10, 2014. The song was produced by Roger Goodman. As of June 2017, the music video received over 14 million views.
The album's third single, called "Save Dat Money" was released on June 10, 2015. The song features guest appearances from American hip hop recording artists Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan, while the production was provided by Money Alwayz. The song peaked at number 71 on the Billboard Hot 100. As of June 2017, the music video received over 75 million views.
