Princeton Independent School District is a rural public school district based in Princeton, Texas (USA). The district covers 60 square miles (160 km2), serving not only the city of Princeton but also the surrounding communities of Culleoka, Lowry Crossing, Branch, Climax and the west side of Lake Lavon.
The district's motto reflects its efforts and mission, "To Improve the World One Student at a Time." Princeton ISD has only had two UIL state champions win in individual events. In 2007, Mitchel Driver won various track events and Casey Blackburn won Computer Applications achieving a perfect score.
In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.
The district is led by Superintendent Phillip Anthony and seven trustees: Board President Carol Bodwell, Vice President Josh Andor, Board Secretary Glenda Beauchamp, Kenneth Campbell, Kyle Strickland, Donnie Campbell, and John Murray.
