Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro (née Camilla Crociani; born 5 April 1971) is the wife of Prince Carlo of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, a claimant to the headship of the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.
Born Camilla Crociani in Rome, she is the daughter of Italian industrialist Camillo Crociani and his wife Edoarda "Edy" Vessel Crociani, an Italian actress. Princess Camilla was educated at Marymount High School before attending New York University. She has business interests around the world. She was previously active in equestrian sports. She is fluent in Italian, French, English, Spanish and Japanese. She has one sibling, Cristiana. The Duchess is active in the promotion of the charitable, humanitarian and inter-religious activities of the Constantinian Order in Italy and across the world. She is very active in the family Business, involving financial activities, catered to investments in the fields of Defence, Homeland Security, Space and Transport worldwide. Humanitarian action through other organisations: Unicef, Red Cross, the Olave Baden-Powell Society, amade, the Association Monaco Against Autism, Amitié sans Frontières and the Princess Grace Foundation. She created in 2017 her Charitable Foundation Princess Camilla of Bourbon Charitable Foundation that is already working on with the collaboration of the Government of Mauritius, we are additionally promoting another area that is dear to my heart as the sitting President of Les Amis du Centre Scientifique de Monaco, and which is to spread a culture of science and technical know-how amongst the new generation. In this light, She collaborates very closely with the office of the President of the Republic of Mauritius to promote and sustain this objective, through Her Excellency Mrs Ameenah Gurib Fakim's personal initiative to launch ( CARIE ) Coalition for African Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
