Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) is a private PreK - 12 Christian school in Plano, Texas, United States. It was founded 1997, and is a ministry of Prestonwood Baptist Church. As of 2014, it had approximately 1,500 students and more than 1000 graduates. Now the largest Pre-K through twelfth grade private school in the Metroplex with more than 1,500 students, PCA is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition to the Pre-K through twelfth grade campus in Plano, the school also has a campus serving more than 60 students in Pre-K3 through fourth grade in Prosper, Texas, and a virtual academy at www.pcaplus.org.
Prestonwood Christian Academy competes in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). They currently compete in 5A, the highest division in TAPPS.
