Preethsod Thappa

Preethsod Thappa (Kannada: ಪ್ರೀತ್ಸೋದ್ ತಪ್ಪಾ) is a 1998 Indian Kannada language romance-drama musical film directed by V. Ravichandran and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film stars V. Ravichandran and Shilpa Shetty in the lead roles. Actors Lokesh and Lakshmi and Prakash Raj feature in other prominent roles. The film is a remake of Telugu blockbuster film Ninne Pelladata (1996) starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Tabu in the lead roles.

The film released on 6 November 1998 across Karnataka cinema halls and was declared a musical blockbuster with all the songs tuned by Hamsalekha receiving exceptionally well. This was the last film with Hamsalekha - Ravichandran combination before they parted ways due to the differences in opinion.

All the songs are composed and written by Hamsalekha.
