The Polar Research Institute of China (simplified Chinese: 中国极地研究中心; traditional Chinese: 中國極地研究中心; pinyin: Zhōngguó Jídì Yánjiū Zhōngxīn) (PRIC) is the main Chinese research institute for the study of the Earth's polar regions. It is based in Shanghai, China.
The Institute manages four polar research stations (three in Antarctica and one in the Arctic), as well as the icebreaking research vessel Xuě Lóng.
