Platte Center is a village in Platte County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 336 at the 2010 census.

Platte Center was platted in 1880 by the railroad. It was named from its location near the geographical center of Platte County. Platte Center was incorporated as a village in 1885.

Platte Center is located at 41°32′17″N 97°29′15″W / 41.53806°N 97.48750°W / 41.53806; -97.48750 (41.537985, -97.487491).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.30 square miles (0.78 km2), all of it land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 336 people, 141 households, and 93 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,120.0 inhabitants per square mile (432.4/km2). There were 146 housing units at an average density of 486.7 per square mile (187.9/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.0% White, 0.3% Asian, and 2.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.3% of the population.

There were 141 households of which 29.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.9% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 34.0% were non-families. 31.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
