Pichu Pichu or Picchu Picchu (possibly from Quechua pikchu pyramid; mountain or prominence with a broad base which ends in sharp peaks, the reduplication signifies there is a group or a complex of something, "a group of peaks") is an inactive eroded volcano in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Arequipa Region, Arequipa Province, on the border of Pocsi and Tarucani districts. Pikchu Pikchu reaches a height of 5,664 metres (18,583 ft) and is part of Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
