Philip A. Glotzbach, Ph.D. (born 7 July 1945), is an American educator, who is currently the president of Skidmore College. Glotzbach graduated summa cum laude in 1972 with a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and went on to earn a Ph.D. from Yale University in 1979. He became Skidmore's seventh president in 2003 and has since remained in that role. Some of his biggest initiatives include the implementation of the College's Strategic Plan entitled "Engaged Liberal Learning: The Plan for Skidmore College 2005-2015", a revised campus master plan, and a capital campaign that has raised more than $200 million.
