Phenacosaurus is a genus of lizards commonly known as anoles. The genus is endemic to northern South America.
Species in the genus Phenacosaurus are found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
The following ten species are recognized as being valid.

The species in the genus Phenacosaurus are sometimes included in the genus Anolis or assigned to the genus Dactyloa.
