Pechersk School International (PSI) provides education for children from the ages of two and a half to eighteen years in Kiev, Ukraine. It consists of two buildings, a few mobile buildings, and a gymnasium tent.
The school was established in 1996 by parents keen to improve the quality of education for their children, and is the only school in Ukraine to be accredited in three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. These include the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). The IB diploma is recognised by more than 2337 universities in over 74 countries.
PSI follows several traditions. New Family Orientation and an International Evening highlight the degree of international diversity of the school. The students take part in a sports day towards the end of each academic year, have a Winter and Spring concert every year, organized by the Music Department. The PSI Panthers take part in basketball, football, softball, cricket and various other sports.
Students at PSI are required to do any after-school activities. These include sports, computer clubs, art clubs, a Band, Photography Club, Chess, and many others.

Traditionally, the school competes with Kyiv International School, School 31 (public Ukrainian school) and the Kiev Christian Academy and other schools in basketball, football and American football. Teams travel to different countries, being a member of CEESA.
There are approximately 435 students at the school: the student body is 20% Ukrainian, 12% USA, 8% UK, 5% French, and 55% from 42 other nationalities.
PSI is located about 20 minutes drive from the central area of Kyiv. Campus facilities include a gymnasium, small playing field and two Science laboratories. There is a reasonably-resourced library, two fully equipped IT rooms and sets of laptops serving both the Primary and Secondary schools. There are facilities for Art, IT, Music, PE, Drama, and Design Technology which are taught by specialists during the school day. An Early Childhood Unit on the campus accommodates 3 and 4 year olds.
PSI is an IB World School, and is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). PSI is also an active member of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) and is a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). PSI is an IB World School offering all three IB programmes since June 1999: PYP, MYP and DP. Students at this school usually take IB exams in May.
