Pawan Kumar Marut is an Indian Television/film producer and director. He is the co-founder of Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited, his production company.

His movie Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan was one of the biggest blockbuster for year 2016. The film grossed ₹50 crore in first 10 days in India. It was appreciated by both the audience and the critics.

On 4 December 2016, Pink won the Best Film at the Star Screen Awards. The film was also invited for a special screening at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.

Pawan's first TV show Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat which aired on Star Plus in 2008 ran all the way until 2010. His current popular shows are Saath Nibhaana Saathiya , Swaragini and Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki which have been doing very well. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Sasural Simar Ka are one of the longest running shows on Indian television with 1800+ episodes each. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is one of most hit shows of India as it has been on the top of TRP Chart many times.
