Paulo Roberto Bacinello (born 29 September 1959), commonly known as Paulinho Cascavel, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a striker.

Unknown in his native land, he spent most of his professional career in Portugal with Vitória de Guimarães and Sporting. His nickname stems from his birthplace.

Born in Cascavel, Paraná, Cascavel started his career with local amateurs Cascavel Clube Recreativo, then successively represented Criciúma Esporte Clube, Joinville Esporte Clube and Fluminense Football Club. In 1984 he moved to Portugal, signing with Primeira Liga club FC Porto, but his spell there was quite unassuming as he amassed virtually no official appearances.

In the following season, Cascavel joined Guimarães' Vitória SC. He scored 22 goals in his second year – competition best – as the Minho side overachieved for a final third place, and qualified for the UEFA Cup.

Cascavel was then signed by Sporting Clube de Portugal for the 1987–88 campaign and netted 23 times, but the Lisbon-based team finished fourth. He added six goals in as many matches in their quarter-final run in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
