Parineeta Borthakur is an Indian film and television actress from Assam. Borthakur has made her film debut with Assamese Movie Nayak winning best debut actress lead role. Later did a telefilm, Nabajibon. Actress appeared in Indian serial Pritam Pyare Aur Woh on SAB TV as Gogi. She was also featured in Bollywood Movies like Force, Chalo Dilli and Kurbaan. Borthakur is also into singing. She has recorded a successful video album.She had played role in Aahat season 4 as story appearance. Parineeta. Actress is currently seen in Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur as Sharmistha on Colors TV .
Parineeta Borthakur was born in Diphu, but grew up in Duliajan, Assam. She has done her high secondary education from Cotton College and later on shifted to Mumbai for her graduation from Sophia College, and masters from Mumbai University. Borthakur's parents wanted to see her as singer. She started singing and performing her songs from assam for events and local movies. With time she understood her way into acting along with studies she have managed to step into entertainment industry. Borthakur got married in Mumbai to Gautam Chakrabortty.
