Panther Creek State Park is a Tennessee state park northwest of Morristown, on the shore of Cherokee Lake, an impoundment of the Holston River. The western terminus of Tennessee State Route 342 is located inside the park. The route connects the park to US Route 11E.
The park has an area of approximately 1,435 acres (6 km2).
The park offers picnicing, camping, hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, and birding.
There are 17 hiking/biking trails in the Park, The trails range from easy to difficult.
There 50 campsites, that include water, electric hookups, picnic tables, fire rings and grills. There is also two bathhouse facilities, each contain hot showers, commodes and lavatories. A laundromat facility is also available.
