Ondřej Hejma (born on February 3, 1951 in Prague) is a singer-composer in Žlutý pes band, a journalist, TV presenter and occasionally a translator.

Ondřej Hejma studied English and Chinese philology in the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague after his graduation from high school. After university he worked as a copywriter in an advertising agency. In 1987 he became a reporter of AP agency. He is married, his wife Vladimíra is a doctor. They have two children, son Jan and daughter Tereza. He lives in Řevnice. His hobbies include travel and golf. In his youth, he played football. He is a known sympathizer of political party ODS and football club Sparta Prague.

In 1960s after graduation he founded a blues band Žízeň together with Jan Foll, then he was a member of the Yo-Yo Band and of the Combo FH band. In 1978 he founded the Žlutý pes band. He has written many lyrics for this band's songs and also for other Czech singers. He was a co-producer of libretto in the Czech version of Hamlet musical.
