"Oh, Oh !" is a song by French recording artist Jérémy Amelin. It was released on January 25, 2010 as the lead single from his unreleased debut studio album "Blaster". The single is an uptempo electropop and dance-pop song following in the footsteps of his previous single What More. It has been compared to Poker Face by American singer Lady Gaga.
The song was produced by Peter Zaad and Claude Banks, written by Kayden Boche and Angelika Vee. Amelin recorded his parts with Kayden Boche at Soundepic Studios in Paris, France and Vee recorded her parts with Peter Zaad in Bucharest, Romania. On December 16, 2009, a 30-second snippet of the song was posted on Amelin's official YouTube channel. The snippet reached 1 million views in two weeks. A week later, Amelin talked about the song during a video interview on his official YouTube channel, stating :
"That's a really sexy song. It's basically about this girl clubbing with her friends just like me. We notice each other through the crowd, then rises a physical and sexual attraction. So we flirt and tease while playing some kind of animal courtship".
The single was officially sent to radio stations on January 11, 2010. It premiered on French radio station FMC Radio on January 15, 2010 and was released worldwide on January 25, 2010 as the lead single from his unreleased debut studio album "Blaster". The song hit the number one spot on the FMC Radio airplay charts on March 19, 2010.
As of May 8, 2015, the single is no longer available from digital download stores and streaming platforms worldwide.
Public Magazine gave the song the maximum five stars referring to it as a "smash hit single in between Lady Gaga and Britney Spears", and as being an "original mix-genius of electro, pop and dance". They added that the song "already sounds like an anthem that will be stuck in people's mind and that will be topping the charts".
