Norwich is a city in Kingman County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 491.

Norwich was founded about 1885. It was named after Norwich, Connecticut.

Norwich is located at 37°27′28″N 97°50′50″W / 37.45778°N 97.84722°W / 37.45778; -97.84722 (37.457778, -97.847160). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.46 square miles (1.19 km2), all of it land.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Norwich has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.

As of the census of 2010, there were 491 people, 176 households, and 114 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,067.4 inhabitants per square mile (412.1/km2).
