The Northern Premier League Chairman's Cup was a one-off game played between the champions of the Northern Premier League Division One North and Division One South. Prior to the creation of these leagues in 2007, the cup was a "plate" competition for teams that lost in the Challenge Cup. The winner of the Chairman's Cup previously played the Premier Division champions in the Peter Swales Shield.

The Chairman's Cup's first season was in 1999–2000. At this point the Northern Premier League consisted of just two divisions and the tournament was a "plate" competition for teams that had lost in the Challenge Cup. The competition was later competed by the respective Division One North/South champions. Hyde United is the most successful team with two wins.

After the split of Division One into two leagues in 2007–08; winning the Chairman's Cup secured qualification to play the Premier Division champions in the Peter Swales Shield.

Teams that have won the cup at least once.
