Windsor, formerly known as North Beach, is a census-designated place (CDP) on Orchid Island in Indian River County, Florida, United States. The population was 243 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Sebastian–Vero Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Windsor is located at 27°47′43″N 80°24′52″W / 27.79528°N 80.41444°W (27.795362, -80.414470).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.3 square miles (27 km2), of which 3.1 square miles (8.0 km2) is land and 7.2 square miles (19 km2) (70.18%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 243 people, 93 households, and 86 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 78.7 people per square mile (30.4/km²). There were 199 housing units at an average density of 64.4/sq mi (24.9/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.35% White, 0.41% African American, and 1.23% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.06% of the population.
