Niki Walia (née Aneja) is an Indian television and film actress.
Walia was born Niki Aneja on 26 September 1972 in Mumbai. She married Sonny Walia in February 2002. The couple has twins (a boy, Sean and a girl, Sabrina). She currently resides in UK.
Niki has worked as a model, compere, VJ, host and actress on TV and Film (Bollywood). She has acted for nearly 28 years in over 30 television serials in many genres (comedy, Action and Drama).
She has won many top awards, making her one of Indian Television's most sought after actresses.
She is best known for her role 'Dr. Simran' in the Hindi TV series Astitva on Zee TV.
Her looks have gained her a title of 'Madhuri Dixit of small screen'.
She was also a judge for Femina Miss India 1994 which resulted in the win for Miss World for Ashwaria Rai and Miss Universe for Sushmita Sen.
Niki has also been a Runner-up Miss World University in 1991, resulting in her being World Ambassador for Peace 1991–1992. She worked in Cloud 9 which is UK's first British Asian soap.
Niki is now trying to venture back into movies and has completed shooting for a Karan Johar/Phantom Films (Vikas Bahl Directed) movie "Shaandar" releasing on September 4th 2015.
She has signed 2 other movies which are yet to start shooting.
