New Mexico's second congressional district to the United States House of Representatives serves the southern half of New Mexico, including Las Cruces, Roswell and the southern fourth of Albuquerque. Geographically, it is the fifth largest district in the nation, and the largest not to comprise an entire state. It is currently represented by Republican Steve Pearce who has held the seat since 2011. Pearce previously represented the district from 2003 to 2009.
