Neuenburg am Rhein is a town in the district Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Rhine, 18 km northeast of Mulhouse, and 28 km north of Basel.
Since 1991 the mayor of Neuenburg is Joachim Schuster (CDU) (born 1956), he was reelected in 1999, 2007 and 2015.
However, the election of 2015 must be repeated.
