Naagin (English: Serpent) is an Indian supernatural drama television series, made by Colors TV and produced by Ekta Kapoor. It aired on weekendsat 8:00 pm IST.
The first season premiered on 1 November 2015 and ended on 5 June 2016. The first season starred Mouni Roy,Arjun Bijlani,Adaa Khan, and Sudha Chandran. The first season was replaced by Kavach...Kaali Shaktiyon Se. The first season was one of the highest rated shows on Indian television.
The second season premiered on 8 October 2016 and ended on 25 June 2017. The second season stars Mouni Roy, Kinshuk Mahajan, Karanvir Bohra, Sudha Chandran, Adaa Khan, and Aashka Goradia. The second season was replaced by Chandrakanta.
Naagin will return for a third season in November 2017, with Mouni Roy once again in the lead.
Shivanya and her cousin Shesha are shape-shifting serpents, or Ichchhadhari Naagins, who want to avenge Shivanya's parents' death. There were five murderers, but Shivanya was able to see only three of them: Ankush, Viren and Shailesh. They killed Shivanya's parents in a failed attempt to attain a precious gem called the Naagmani.
