My World, My Way is the fourth studio album by American rapper Silkk the Shocker, released on February 27, 2001 on No Limit Records in the United States. Due to the departure of Beats By the Pound, the album was produced by a variety of producers including Donald XL Robertson and Myke Diesel. Recording sessions took place for the album during 2000 and 2001 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Though it was still successful it was not as successful his two previous platinum selling albums, My World, My Way but still managed to make it to number 12 on the Billboard 200 and number 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums selling 200,000 copies its first week of release. Eventually the album would go on to sell over 390,000 copies as of 2012 and was certified Gold by the RIAA.
Three singles also made it to the charts, "He Did That" Produced by Donald XL Robertson made it to #13 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks, ""Run" which made to #22 on the Top/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks and "That's Cool" was a huge success making it to #8 on the Top/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks. There was also a single called "Uh Ha" which was a success making it #16 On the Top/ Hip Hop Singles & Tracks and a single called "Pop Lockin".
