My Favorite Fairy Tales (世界童話アニメ全集 Sekai Dōwa Anime Zenshū?) in Japan is a 1986 anime series of fairy tales and other classic stories created by Robert Barron. The series was released by Saban Entertainment.
There were five volumes, totalling fourteen episodes:
The series was originally released on four VHS volumes on 1986. The Daily Mirror (a British newspaper) released The Three Little Pigs and Alibaba and Forty Thieves on a promotional DVD in 2006.
The incidental music was composed by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy. Most of this music was reused in the later TV series Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics.
