Mundo de fieras (English title: World of Wild Animals, Lit. Love and Cruelty) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Salvador Mejía Alejandre for Televisa in 2006. It is a remake of Pasión y poder, produced in 1988 and the Venezuelan telenovela Mundo de fieras produced in 1991.

On July 31, 2006, Canal de las Estrellas started broadcasting Mundo de fieras weekdays at 9:00pm, The final episode aired on January 19, 2007. replacing La verdad oculta. The last episode was broadcast on January 19, 2007 with Destilando Amor replacing it the following day.

César Évora has a dual role of protagonist/main antagonist, Gaby Espino, Ernesto Laguardia, Sebastián Rulli, Sara Maldonado starred as protagonists, while Edith González, Michelle Vieth and the leading actress Helena Rojo starred as antagonists. René Casados, Odiseo Bichir, Azela Robinson, Laura Flores, Carmen Salinas, Claudio Báez and Juan Peláez starred as stellar performances. Dulce and René Strickler they have a special participation.

Gabriel and Demián are identical twins but very different. Gabriel grew up in the high society while his brother grew up in poverty which caused him to have a grudge against Gabriel and wants to destroy him.

Gabriel is a widow who remarried to the hysterical Joselyn. An accident makes Joselyn miscarry and causes disability to Luisito, the son of her and Gabriel. Joselyn blames her husband and makes his life miserable, with help from her mother Miriam and her daughter Karen from her first marriage. They are the "beasts" that destroy Gabriel.
