Mulawin vs. Ravena is a Philippines-fantasy television series created and produced by GMA Network. a sequel to the fantasy series Mulawin televised in 2004 and the 2005 film, Mulawin: The Movie starred by Richard Gutierrez, Angel Locsin and Dennis Trillo. It premiered on May 22, 2017 starring Dennis Trillo and Lovi Poe together with an ensemble cast succeeding 2016's Encantadia. For its timeslot, it will be replaced by Super Ma'am.
Dennis Trillo and Miguel Tanfelix reprised their roles from the original series and movie as Gabriel and Pagaspas respectively. The series was directed by Don Michael Perez and Dominic Zapata, the same team who developed the original series.
The series is also shown online exclusively via HOOQ at 1080p high-definition video as video on demand, 24 hours after its TV broadcast.
A continuation of the film Mulawin, which includes generational characters and the origin and ancestry of Dakila, the founding demi-god of Pugad Lawin kingdom in Avila, in Mount Apo of the mortal world. It also emphasizes the difference of Avalon, the mountain of Mulawins in Encantadia, and Avila in Mount Apo, the mountain of Mulawins in the mortal world.
The first episode premiered on May 22, 2017 in the Philippines on GMA Network and worldwide through GMA Pinoy TV. The series currently airs from Mondays through Fridays on the GMA Telebabad prime time block.
