Mulavi Dawood

Mulavi Dawood was the leader of the Afghanistan Mujahedin Freedom Fighters Front, a Big Tent political party that fought against the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan and their Soviet allies. His party's most famous quote was: "Neither Puppet Regime nor Fundamentalism, Freedom and Democracy!" Arabic:نه رژیم پوشالی نه بنیادگرایی، آزادی و دموکراسی! which was popular among more democratic rebels. The biggest battle of the war that the AMFFF took part in was the Bala Hissar Oprising on August 5th 1979 which was brutally destroyed. He died when he was abducted by the Gulbuddin Hekmatyar's Islamic Party in Peshawar on November 1986.
