Mudjimba is a suburb in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia, and forms part of the Maroochydore urban centre.
Mudjimba gets its name from the local plant, the Midyam (Austromyrtus) bush.
Mudjimba Island sits about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) off the coast. Also known as Old Woman Island, this is arguably the best surf break in the Sunshine Coast Region.
Sunshine Coast Airport is located adjacent to the suburb; the Sunbus depot is near the airport.
Recently the ex-HMAS Brisbane was scuttled five kilometres off the coast.
Mudjimba is home to the Mudjimba Surf Life Saving Club. The club was founded in 1996.
