Mu Piscium (Mu Psc, μ Piscium, μ Psc) is a multiple star with three components approximately 360 light years away from Earth, in the constellation Pisces. Its nearest multiple is approximately 5.6 degrees dimmer in apparent magnitude.
In Chinese, 外屏 (Wài Píng), meaning Outer Fence, refers to an asterism consisting of refers to an asterism consisting of μ Piscium, δ Piscium, ε Piscium, ζ Piscium, ν Piscium, ξ Piscium and α Piscium. Consequently, μ Piscium itself is known as 外屏四 (Wài Píng sì, English: the Fourth Star of Outer Fence.)
