Montrose is a city in Wright County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,847 at the 2010 census.

Montrose was platted in 1878, and named after Montrose, in Scotland. Montrose was incorporated in 1881. The Dr. E.P. Hawkins Clinic, Hospital, and House, an early-20th-century medical complex, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.21 square miles (8.31 km2); 3.20 square miles (8.29 km2) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2) is water.U.S. Highway 12 and Minnesota State Highway 25 are two of the main routes in the community.
