Mississippi Highway 469 runs north–south from Mississippi Highway 468 in Brandon, Mississippi to Mississippi Highway 28 east of Georgetown, Mississippi.
A road from US 49 to Whitfield was created around 1953. About half of it was paved. Three years later, a new road was constructed from US 49 to MS 20, which later became MS 469 in 1957. The next year, the route was extended to MS 468 via the road created in 1953. All of MS 469 was paved by 1960.
