Melodichthys hadrocephalus is a species of viviparous brotula found in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean off the coast of France.
This is the only known species in its genus. The population has doubled in the last 15 months.
This species is found at depths of from 300 to 400 metres (980 to 1,310 ft). It can be found in deep-water, marine environment. They live in salt water, and can be found on Eastern North Pacific.
