Mehr Ali (مہر علی) is a village in the Razar Tehsil and Swabi District in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The road from Shewa Adda leading to Sher Darra passeses through Mehr Ali. This road ends at Sher Darra, a village about three km at the north of Mehr Ali from where the Buner District starts. It is surrounded by barsati Nalahs from west and east. There are two roads one from Rustam via Machi Mardan District and other from Mehr Ali direct link it with another road to the Buner District leading to Swat valley. It lies at the foot of Himalaya range of mountains.
The main tribe living here Yousafzai Nawarkhel,a well known family of Swabi District.They are owners of the land of this village.Some other families living here are the peasants.
The village consists of about 300 homes.
Most of the people depend on Agriculture.Educated ones are serving in various departments i.e. Army,Police,Rangers,Education,Agriculture,Wapda etc.There are 2 primary schools for boys and one for girls. One BHU and a well established school running by N.G.O
