McLemoresville is a town in Carroll County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 352 at the 2010 census. It is notable primarily as the birthplace, and final resting place, of television star Dixie Carter.

McLemoresville is located in western Carroll County at 35°59′15″N 88°34′39″W / 35.98750°N 88.57750°W / 35.98750; -88.57750 (35.987380, -88.577368).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.6 square miles (6.7 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 259 people, 119 households, and 81 families residing in the town. The population density was 347.9 people per square mile (135.1/km²). There were 134 housing units at an average density of 180.0 per square mile (69.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 90.35% White, 6.18% African American, 0.39% Native American, 2.70% from other races, and 0.39% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.70% of the population.

There were 119 households out of which 24.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.3% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.1% were non-families. 30.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.18 and the average family size was 2.67.
