Maywood is a village in Frontier County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 261 at the 2010 census.
Maywood was founded in the 1880s. It was named for May Woods, the daughter of Israel Woods, the original owner of the town site.
Maywood is located at 40°39′29″N 100°37′22″W / 40.65806°N 100.62278°W (40.658065, -100.622746).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.63 square miles (1.63 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 261 people, 117 households, and 76 families residing in the village. The population density was 414.3 inhabitants per square mile (160.0/km2). There were 146 housing units at an average density of 231.7 per square mile (89.5/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.3% White, 1.1% from other races, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.1% of the population.
There were 117 households of which 23.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.4% were married couples living together, 3.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 35.0% were non-families. 27.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
