Max Colt' (born Maksym Chyzhevskyy in Alchevsk, Ukraine) is a visual effects producer and director. He is currently an executive producer of GloriaFX visual effects company. He has produced visual effects for music videos for artists such as Britney Spears, Imagine Dragons, Justin Bieber, Foals, Ariana Grande and Shakira.
Early in his career, Max spent time working as a Creative director for an advertising firm with brands including Coca-Cola, Henkel, and Procter & Gamble. In 2010, he joined his friend Tomash Kuzmitskiy's company, GloriaFX. He participated in Ukrainian national video projects such as: Pray for Ukraine, directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, and Once Upon a Mine, directed by Vofka Solovyov.
Max moved to Los Angeles in 2014 where he began working on commercials and feature films.
Colt now spends most of his time in visual effects. Since 2010, he has been involved in more than 250 music videos, three films and nearly 20 commercials.
In 2015, Colt received the MTV Video Music Award for Best Visual Effects with Skrillex and Diplo for Justin Bieber's "Where Are Ü Now." GloriaFX and Colt were nominated for three other projects: Childish Gambino's "Telegraph Ave", FKA Twigs's "Two Weeks" and Tyler, The Creator's "F****** Young/Death Camp".
In 2016, under Colt's management, Gloria FX received MTV Music Video Awards for Best Visual Effects with Coldplay "Up&Up". The video was nominared for Grammy Award in 2017.
