Matthias Opdenhövel

Matthias Opdenhövel (born August 25, 1970 in Detmold) is a German journalist and television presenter.

Opdenhövel works as journalist and television presenter for German broadcasters as ARD, Sat 1, Pro7, VIVA Germany, VOX and WDR. Together with Aleksandra Bechtel he presented from 1997 to 1998 Bitte lächeln on German broadcaster RTL 2 and from 1998 to 2003 together with Barbara Schöneberger Frühstücksfernsehen Weck Up on broadcaster Sat 1. Opdenhövel is married, has two sons and lives with his family in Cologne.
