Matt Moonen is an American politician, who was elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 2012. He represents the 118th House District as a member of the Democratic Party.
Openly gay, Moonen is a former director of Equality Maine. He is one of five openly gay members of the Maine Legislature, alongside Reps. Andrew McLean (D–Gorham), Justin Chenette (D–Saco), Terry Morrison (D–South Portland) and Craig Hickman (D–Winthrop).
