Mark O’Dea


Mark O'Dea (born 1 June 1991) is an English television presenter & YouTuber, mainly known for his work in Malaysia.

O'Dea was born in Gravesend, Kent & was awarded a Scholarship to the Sylvia Young Theatre School at the age of 12 years old after falling in love with performing from a young age. He got his first theatre role at the age of 11 when he was cast in the West End Production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium.

After graduating from the Sylvia Young Theatre school, he moved to Malaysia at the age of 21 where he joined the Malaysian-based boyband 'The London Boys' and at the same time started a YouTube channel which included Pranks, Sketches, Song Covers & Challenges.

Following The London Boys, O'Dea landed a job on The 8TV Quickie in 2014, which saw him join the daily entertainment show as a regular presenter. The show ended on 31 March 2016, however, he was unable to host the programme for the final time. He also worked for Astro SuperSport, hosting a travelogue sports show called 'Wishlist', which saw him and fellow co-host Reem Shahwa make young Malaysian's sporting dream's come true.

O'Dea is also a strong fitness enthusiast and was on the cover for the Malaysia Men's Health Magazine in May 2015. He is also a strong believer in equal religious rights in Malaysia and has made several videos & articles about this cause.

In 2016, he launched a Challenge Series on his YouTube channel called 'Oh My Bahasa Malaysia' where he would face up against Malaysian celebrities and try to compete in a series of Challenges to avoid a punishment.
