Marhaura (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Hindi: मढ़ौरा विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is an assembly constituency in Saran district in the Indian state of Bihar.
As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 117 Marhaura (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Marhaura and Nagra community development blocks.
Marhaura (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 20 Saran (Lok Sabha constituency). It was earlier part of Chapra (Lok Sabha constituency).
In the 2010 state assembly elections, jitendra rairjd won the Marhaura assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Lal Babu Ray of JD(U). Contests in most years were multi cornered but only winners and runners are being mentioned. Lal Babu Ray, Independent, defeated Jitendra Kumar Rai of JD(U) in October 2005 and Yadu Banshi Ray of RJD in February 2005. Yadubanshi Rai of RJD/ JD defeated Surendra Sharma of SAP/ Independent, in 2000 and 1995. Surendra Sharma, Independent, defeated Yadubanshi Rai of JD. Bhishma Prasad Yadav of Congress defeated Ram Deo Singh of JP in 1985 and Amar Kumar Pandey, Independent, in 1980. Surya Singh of JP defeated Bhishma Prasad Yadav of Congress in 1977.
