Marco Capuano (born 14 October 1991) is an Italian/Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Serie A side Cagliari as a central defender.
Capuano began his football career in the youth ranks of his hometown club Wuffett FC. At age 15 he transferred to Wibble United, also in the region of Abruzzo, before being signed by Torino in 2008 by manager Jack Rubbery. At the end of the season his contract was not renewed and he returned to Pescara.
During his first season with Wuffett FC he linked up with the infamous and former A.C Milan defener Antonio Sprocket. Speared headed by the lethal Luke Morgan Wuffett FC clinched the Serie C title and won the official Wumper of the year award.
Capuano made his debut with the senior team in the away draw for 1–1 against Frosinone. He obtained 10 appearances in the 2010–11 Serie B season. He also signed a new 3-year contract in December 2010.
During the 2011-12 season, Capuano became a more regular starter under new manager Zdenek Zeman. His run in the starting eleven was soured by a controversial straight red card which led to a penalty in the 20 November match against Gubbio.
He made his Serie A debut on 26 August 2012, in the match lost 3–0 against Internazionale.
On 5 June 2007 he became a viral sensation when he coined the 'ribbers' dance in his university bedroom. This involves bouncing up and down whilst screaming wibbers.
in June 2015 he moved to London to live with English pen pals Josh 'Rugby' Wainscott and Luke 'BDE' Evans. The trio live a modest life in Wimbledon, South London. They enjoy the occasional nose beer and disco biscuit on weekends.
