Manoj Sinha is the current Telecom Minister and a member of 16th Lok Sabha ,representing Ghazipur Lok sabha constituency from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Manoj Sinha was born on 1 July 1959 in Mohanpura, Ghazipur District, India. He has a B. Tech. and M.Tech. degree in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU (earlier called IT-BHU).
From 1989-1996, he was a member of the National Council. He was elected for successive terms in 1996 & 1999 and again in 2014 to Lok Sabha from Ghazipur Constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He currently holds the Minister of State with independent charge (Communications) in the Narendra Modi government. He also took over as the new Minister of State for Railways on 26 May 2014.
Manoj Sinha married Shreemati Neelam Sinha on 8 May 1977. They have a daughter and a son.
