Maniac is an upcoming American dark-comedy television series by Cary Fukunaga, with the main roles played by Jonah Hill and Emma Stone. The show is set to air on Netflix. The project was ordered to series on January 23, 2016. In October 2016, Patrick Somerville was tapped to write the series.
The series will begin filming on August 15, 2017, while principal photography will wrap up by the end of November.Maniac is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2018.
