Manaloor is a small village in Thrissur district of Kerala state, south India. It is one of the constituencies in Thrissur district.

As of 2001 India census, Manalur had a population of 17130 with 8237 males and 8893 females.

There were lot of Nair families of which one of the famous Tharavaddu which had ancestoral heritage there was Kadavanoor House. Kerala's OBC community Ezava families dominate the village, those ancisters were tody tappers, to name some of them are Thuruthiyil Family, Kaniyamparambil Family, Karayil Family etc.

The erstwhile old temples which still exist are the Ayyappan kavu and the Siva Kshetram.

Manalur assembly constituency is part of Trichur (Lok Sabha constituency).

Manaloor is famous for organic farming. When the Indian prime minister visited Manaloor in 2016, food for 3,000 strong audience was prepared in Manaloor using organic farming techniques.

Colonel Sreeghanlal.P. Raman, First Senior Indian Army officer and Pilot from the area, belongs to Manalur panchayat. He commanded 94 Charwa Regiment during Operations Meghdoot , Rakshak and Vijay; also created history in highest battle field in the world, by psycho-conditioning the Regiment to engage on multiple fronts and battle field of minus 40* C.
